We put two snaps close together, on either side of the zipper.
We wanted to be able to snap both the curtain and sliding-door screen, so we put all new snaps in for the sliding-door screen.

We put one snap just above, and one just below where the screen passes over the seatbelt.

There's an uncut 'patch' on the left side, about a third of the way down (opposite the small slit on the right side). Maybe it's intended to be cut if needed to fit over the fire extinguisher? We didn't need to cut it to fit over ours.

Install the first snap in the screen and in the van. Install the next snap into either the screen or van. Have someone hold up the screen, snap the first snap, and mark the position for the other side of the next snap.

Start with the snap just above the rear seat armrest, so the small slit in the screen frame helps the screen bend over the armrest.

Continue counter-clockwise. Add the lowest-right snap last.

Since we put the small slit just over the rear-seat armrest, the bottom of the screen frame overhangs the van door. When the frame is hanging out, there are noticeable gaps at each side as shown in that photo. We considered raising the screen so that the bottom of the screen rested just on the "step" below the sliding door opening, but then the top of the screen frame was just at the corner of the heat/ac vent housing and it looked difficult to put the snaps there. So we decided to let ours hang "too long"
