I think that this is Black Mountain, viewed from just North of Idyllwild

This was a bit disconcerting, a frigging great log in the middle of the road

A beautiful view, in the distance is Indian Mountain peeking through the clouds below

It's a lake, innit! Lake Arrowhead

They have the most peculiar mock Elizabethan architecture in Lake Arrowhead. And for some reason, German music blaring out everywhere.
